Tutors and Mentors

CMW employs a number of freelance tutors and mentors, across Wales who work on a range of creative music projects, events, training and activities. Activity is delivered on an outreach basis in partnership with a wide range of organisations.

Our Tutors are trained, experienced professionals with specialities in a variety of musical genres and in working with different sections of the community. Our Mentors have worked professionally in the Music Industries with a wide range of experiences they can draw on. All workers undergo enhanced CRB checks and have been through our accredited Community Music Training courses, covering inclusion, health & safety, anti discrimination and working with young people and vulnerable adults. Tutors and Mentors range in age and gender but all are committed to using music as a way of engaging people to make a real difference.
