Ciwdod

Ciwdod works to promote the social use of Welsh by young people through Welsh language popular music. It works alongside Complete Control Music offering mentoring, training initiatives, possible CD releases, seminars, gigs, support and advice to Welsh language artists.

Ciwdod also works with Noiseworks running training and workshops to provide opportunities for people to create and play their own music along with others, whether in their home, community or school via workshop activity through the medium of Welsh. It helps people to play the music they want to play whatever their age, skill or ability and wherever they live.

The initiative is open for bands/artists who need help to develop their musical career. They can expect to receive practical help with advice on the music industry from experienced mentors, access to resources and assistance with setting up and marketing live performances.
