Drumming Sessions at Industry Day Newtown.
CMW will be working in conjunction with Careers Wales for this day of drumming
and percussion workshops as part of the Careers Services’ Industry’s Day
Conference for adults with learning difficulties.
Participants will be taught simple drum
patterns in a fun and accessible way and will work creatively as a group. The
sessions will use the instruments and rhythms of West Africa as an introduction
to different musical styles and cultures. Participants will be able to take part in small group sessions throughout
the day.
The music will start at 9.30am and will finish by 3pm on Thursday 14th
January. Refreshments will be available throughout
