Launching our Resource Pack

Community Music Wales’ new Resource Pack was officially launched last Friday. The afternoon at the Norwegian Church in Cardiff Bay was a great success and attracted a wide variety of people including Members of Parliament, community music tutors, students and music industry.

Kevin Brennan MP officially launched the pack with a speech highlighting the importance of music within the community.

The Community Music Resource Pack was designed by CMW as a tool kit for community music delivery after an increase in requests made to them from community groups for advice and guidance. The pack aims to help identify suitable music activity for organisations through presenting case studies of different activities and by looking at the practical steps needed in setting up and organising this work.
