Roc Rafon week 5
Five weeks have gone past since the launch of Ciwdod’s music industry project, and at the Riverfront Center in Newport last night the pupils of Gwynllyw School were busy polishing their projects and applying some final touches before the big gig next week.
Again this week, the marketing and promotion team continued to promote the gig. Leaflets have been distributed, posters are up and press releases have been sent. All they need to do now is continue to advertise the gig and look forward to it!
The band Fflam! had the chance to perform in the Riverfront Studio last night – a good practice run as that will be the location for the gig. After perfecting the songs and getting used to the new location, the band is ready for their big performance next week. Come to support them, it’s a free gig for all!
Last night, the art and design team completed the design for the band’s CD. After 5 weeks of painting, sketching, designing, developing the band’s logo and an eye-catching CD cover, everything has been completed. A very ‘fiery’ CD cover, great!
Come to see the highlight of Roc R’Afon project and support Fflam!’s first gig in the studio at the Riverfront Theatre, Newport 8th December, 7.30pm. We’ll see you there!
