Merry Christmas!
We will be shutting our offices for the Christmas break today and reopening on Thursday, January the 5th 2012.
We’re all looking forward to our holidays after a very busy year! (as you can see in the picture of Martin, Charlotte and Mirain in their Christmas jumpers!)
Some of the highlights of 2011 were our Heritage Lottery funded project COB 200 in Porthmadog, establishing workshops in Rhondda Cynon Taf with the Amber Project, the Celtic Women performance in the National Botanic Gardens, Rock ‘Rafon in Newport and a fantastic Community Music Tutor Training Course in Cardiff.
We’ve welcomed new staff, greatly enriching the team here at CMW. We’ve also sent staff to work internationally in Turkey and in Australia on some fantastic projects.
Director Hannah Jenkins said “We’ve had a great year and we’ve got some very exciting projects already in place for next year, so I want to say thanks to all our partner organisations, our funders, and a special thanks to the our Board, staff, tutors and mentors for all the hard work in 2011.”
Our newsletter, The Cat’s Whisker, has a gallery of some of our highlights here.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
