Hijinx Theatre’s 'Vaguely Artistic' release CD

November 2011 saw the release of the first 4 track CD from funk rock band Vaguely Artistic ‘This is Vaguely Artistic’, created with help from Community Music Wales.

The band formed through Hijinx Theatre’s ‘Odyssey’ Theatre project, a participatory performance group open to adults of all ages and abilities, including adults with learning disabilities, who share a desire to perform.

CMW worked in partnership with Hijinx Theatre to help write and develop the songs and to produce the CD.

The band played a successful launch gig in Chapter Arts Centre and are set to play more shows this year, including 29^th June at the Unity Festival 2012. Should be a good one!
