Commissions
CMW can be commissioned to provide community music activity. We have been commissioned by a wide range of organisations to run workshops, training and mentoring which complement their existing programme of activities. Using our 20 years of expertise and knowledge in community music, we can tailor music projects to need, facilitating any special requirements and providing expert strategic planning to your given budget.
Our workshop menu covers all aspects of music making from group workshops to individual mentoring. We can also work on training, either providing our existing training courses or working with you to adapt training models. We can also offer Agored Cymru accreditation to those over 16.
We have a large to store of musical equipment meaning we can provide opportunities for you to experiment with different instruments and try new genres of music.
All our tutors undergo advanced CRB checks and have been through our accredited Community Music Workshop training course, covering inclusion, health & safety, anti discrimination and working with young people and vulnerable adults.
You can download a list of sample workshops which are popular below, but we do tailor everything to need and are always interested in developing new work.
