Youth Vocational Training
Community music is an excellent interventionist tool for engagement and provides motivational projects for young people, promoting inclusion for those who have few opportunities and who would not normally consider continuing education.
CMW provides access to vocational music training by providing informal learning, which is client led and using OCN qualifications where appropriate.
CMW’s Vocational Training is an innovative outreach learning provision, which tackles social exclusion and empowers individuals, improving not only their music and technical skills, but self-esteem, self-confidence and other transferable skills such as team- work, communication and learning skills. This enables progression to further education, training or employment.
